Passionate About Inspiring Others
The Voice Studio Atlanta is the premiere studio for modern training for the classical voice in the Atlanta area. Leah Partridge, founder and instructor, tailors each lesson to the need of each student from the very beginner to the established seasoned performer. Leah has performed in over 50 operatic productions during her international career from the Metropolitan Opera to venues across Europe.
She maintains a high profile singing schedule and teaches in between operatic engagements. She is highly sought after for her knowledge of the bel canto operatic style, musical theater style, support for the voice actor, and her work with yoga for performers.
Leah teaches students to find a balance between physical tension and release, relying on the principles of rooting and rebounding the body as well as attention to breath and the support muscles. Her teaching is energetic and passionate and she strives to inspire students to free their voices through focused breathing and body awareness. Leah continues in a long line of world renowned voice teachers and performers. She studied voice with Virginia Zeani at Indiana University and has studied with Renata Scotto, Deborah Birnbaum, Patricia Racette, Mary Dunleavy, and Patricia Sage. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. For more information about Ms. Partridge see her performance website www.leahpartridge.com
